Gama_0(N)'nin PSL(2,R) deki normalliyeninin yapısı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Gama_0(N) nin PSL(2,R) deki normalliyeninin bölüm gruplarının yapısı incelenerek izomorf oldukları gruplar belirlendi.Birinci bölümde Öklid Olmayan kristalize grupların genel tanımları ortaya konularak Gama modüler grubu ve bu grubun Gama_0(N) kongrüans alt grubu, temel bölgeler ve sonlu üretilmiş bir Fuchsian grubun simge tanımı verildi.İkinci bölüm tamamı ile Gama_0(N) nin PSL(2,R) deki normalliyenine ayrıldı. Bu normalliyeni daha iyi anlamak için bu grubun bazı özel alt grupları olan Atkin-Lehner grubu ve diğer bazı gruplar verildi. Ayrıca bu kısımda Gama_B(N) normalliyeninin bölüm grubu olan B(N) nin yapısı incelendi ve izomorf oldukları temel gruplar tespit edildi, ve bölüm grubunun bazı bölüm gruplarının bir direkt çarpımı olduğu gösterildi. In this thesis the structure of the quotient groups of the normalizer of Gamma_0(N) in PSL(2,R) is examined and the groups that are isomorphic to these quotient groups are determined.In chapter 1, general definitions of Non-Euclidean Crystallographic groups, the modular group Gama and its congruence subgroup Gamma_0(N), fundamental domains and the signnature of finitely generated Fuchsian groups are given.In chapter 2, we deal exclusively with the normalizer of Gamma_0(N) in PSL(2,R). To understand the normalizer very well, some special groups especially The Atkin-Lehner group are presented. Furthermore, the structure of the quotient group B(N) of the normalizer Gamma_B(N) is given and the groups that are isomorphic to the quotient groups are determined, and finally the qutient group B(N) is written as a direct product of some qutient groups of the normalizers.
