Türkiye’de Dış Ticaretin Teknolojik Yapısının Fasıl Bazlı Yoğunlaşma Analizleri ile Belirlenmesi [Araştırma Makalesi]

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de teknoloji yoğun ürünlerin dış ticaretindeki gelişmelerin fasıl bazlı yoğunlaşma analizi ile ortaya konulmasına katkıda bulunmaktır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirmek için Yoğunlaşma Oranı (CR), Herfindahl-Hirschman Endeksi (HHI) ve Entropi Endeksi (ENT) kullanılmıştır. Analize 1996-2017 dönemi ve teknoloji yoğunluğuna göre sınıflandırılan 33 fasıl dahil edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; Türkiye’de teknoloji yoğun ürünlerin hem ihracatında hem de ithalatında orta derecede yoğunlaşma söz konusudur. Ancak ithalattaki yoğunlaşmanın derecesi daha yüksektir. Diğer taraftan, Türkiye’de dış ticaretin teknolojik yapısı düşük ve orta teknoloji yoğunlukta toplanmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to contribute to explaining improvements in the foreign trade of the technologyintensive products in Turkey with chapter-based concentration analysis. To achieve this aim, Concentration Ratio (CR), Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) and Entropy Index (ENT) were used. The period of 1996-2017 and 33 chapters classified according to technology intensity were included in the analysis. From the findings obtained, Turkey has moderate concentration both in exports and imports of the technology-intensive products. However, the degree of the concentration in import is more compared to that in export. On the other hand, the technological structure of foreign trade in Turkey is concentrated on low and medium-low technology levels.
