Balkan Gazetesinin Yazar ve Okur Köşesinden Bulgaristan Türklerinin Sorunları (1906-1908)

Abstract

Bulgaristan sınırları içinde yaşayan Türklerin 1906-1908 yılları arasında ne gibi sorunları olabilir? 1908 yılı Bulgaristan’ın Osmanlı’dan kesin olarak kopuşunu ifade etmektedir. Tam da bu tarihten iki yıl önce Filibe’de çıkan bir Jön Türk gazetesi olan Balkan’dan hareketle ülkede yaşayan Müslüman Türklerin sorunları üzerine eğilmek istedik. Elimizde öne çıkan veri kaynağı, Balkan gazetesinde yayımlanan hem başyazar Edhem Ruhi’nin yazıları hem de gazeteye yazı gönderen okurların mektuplarıdır. Gerek Edhem Ruhi’nin yazılarına gerekse okur mektuplarına ciddi bir şekilde eğildiğimizde gördüğümüz manzara beklediğimizden çok farklıdır. Edhem Ruhi ve okurlar gazetede, sorun olarak daha çok Müslüman toplumun iç problemlerini merkeze almıştır. Öne çıkan sorunlar ise şunlardır: Partizanlık, müftüler, mektepler, vakıflar. Ancak bu sorunların her biri bir diğeri ile yakından ilgilidir. Bu da sorunların daha karmaşık ve girift bir hâle gelmesine sebep olmuştur.

What problems can The Turks have, who lived in Bulgaria between 1906 and 1908? The year 1908 present the final separation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire. We wanted to focus on the problems of the Muslim Turks living in this country, by means of the Balkan, a newspaper of Youth Turks, which has appeared exactly two years before this date in Plovdiv. Our most important sources are the writings, published in the Balkan newspaper, of both Edhem Ruhi, the chief author, and the readers who have sent letters to the newspaper. The view that we saw is different from what we expected when we seriously focus on both the writings of Edhem Ruhi and the letters of readers. Edhem Ruhi and the readers highlighted especially the internal problems of Muslim society as a problem in the newspaper. But the following issues are the most important: partizanship, müftis, schools and foundations. But each one of these problems is closely related to the other. This led to the complications of these problems.
