Özet:
Bu araştırmanın amacı, zorunlu eğitim süresinin öğretmenlerin görüşlerine olan etkilerini ölçmektir. Bu bağlamda İstanbul ilinde öğretmenler üzerine bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın veri toplama yöntemi ankettir. Yüz yüze ve online anketler aracılığıyla toplam 408 öğretmene ulaşılmıştır. Anketlerin analizinde frekans dağılımı, bağımsız t-testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA testleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın en önemli sonucu, öğretmenler, zorunlu eğitim süresi arttıkça, sınıf geçmenin kolaylaştığını ve sınıfta kalmanın az olduğu bir eğitim sisteminin, kişilerin bilinçsiz meslek seçmelerine sebep olduğunu düşünmektedirler.
The aim of this research is to measure the opinions of teachers for compulsory education. In this context, a study was conducted on teachers in Istanbul. The data collection method of the study is the questionnaire. A total of 408 teachers were reached through face-to-face and online questionnaires. Frequency distribution, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA tests were used in the analysis of the questionnaires. The most important results of the research; teachers think that as the duration of compulsory education increases, the transition to class becomes easier and the education system, in which the class is easy to pass, causes people to choose an unconscious profession.
