Geçmişten Bugüne “Tahir İle Zühre”

Abstract

“Tahir ile Zühre” adlı halk hikâyesinin konusu, Karagöz ve Ortaoyunu’nda da işlenmiş, Nâzım Hikmet gibi çağdaş Türk edebiyatçılarını da etkilemek suretiyle Türk kültüründeki yerini korumaya 20. yüzyılda da devam etmiştir. Bununla birlikte, “Tahir ile Zühre”nin halk hikâyesi, Karagöz ve Ortaoyunu varyantlarında önemli farklılıklar vardır. Bu makale, söz konusu farklılıklarla ilgilidir.

The subject of the popular story “Tahir and Zuhre” can be seen in Karagoz and Ortaoyunu plays and for the reason that contemporary writers like Nâzım Hikmet are impressed by this story, it preserved its place in Turkish culture also in 20th century. But there are important differences among the popular story, the Karagöz variants and the Ortaoyunu variants. This article is about those differences.
